The equipment has a strong box (1) with a door (10) equipped with a random code electronic lock (11) for providing access, after opening of the lock and the door, to a protected area (100) defined at an interior of the box. The protected space encloses an exchanger (2) with a master lock (20) maneuverable by a master key (30) and receiving a set of keys having service keys (31, 32). The exchanger provides access, after the opening of the master lock, to one service key, and the master lock retains the master key in an opened position, where the master key is provided in the master lock. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing an operation of storage and/or transfer of fiduciary values between two protected areas.
