The device has an elastic element (1) e.g. U-shaped spring wire, connected to a washing tank and friction pads that are arranged around a friction plate (10). One of the pads is guided along an opening (17) arranged in the plate by a guiding unit (30) and has a cavity for housing an end of the elastic element. The pads slide along the plate with negligible stress when the device is in a position and are pressurized against the plate when the device is in another position.
