In a non-woven having a layer of synthetic cellulose fibers (specifically viscose) and a layer of cellulose material (specifically wood fibers), the synthetic cellulose fibers have a flat section. An independent claim is included for the production of the non-woven, by placing the cellulosic material layer on the flat section synthetic cellulose fiber layer and consolidating the two layers by hydro-bonding.
