The device has an enclosure (1) defining a gas filling volume and including an outlet (2) connected to an exhaust line (3). An electromechanical type volume modifying unit (10) has a loudspeaker (4) with a membrane (6) forming a wall portion of the enclosure, and is controlled by a control unit (5). The membrane is animated to a to-and-fro periodical movement when the control unit supplies a sinusoidal excitation signal to a coil (7) of the loudspeaker for modifying the volume of the enclosure so as to create a periodic gas flow at the outlet of the enclosure.
