The crosspiece (11) has a set of steps for forming receiving zones of different heights on upper surface of the crosspiece to receive a cassette of a glass sunroof (20), a glue joint of a fixed glass roof, and a base portion of an iron roof, when a motor vehicle is configured with the sunroof, the iron roof and the fixed glass roof, respectively. Two embossed parts (31, 32) are assembled on front and rear flaps (16, 18) by welding. The cassette has a support (17) adhered on the step (12) in the upper surface of the crosspiece. An independent claim is also included for a series of motor vehicles with different pavilions.
