The vehicle has a bumper face bar that is made of a plastic material and supported by a bumper face bar beam. The beam has a cross piece (2) and longitudinal branches extending the cross piece towards the rear. Each branch is formed of an energy absorber (4) and a support plate (7) extending perpendicular to the cross piece. An assembly of facade support element (6) and a facade support bracket (5) is fixed on ends of a rail (3). The bracket is fixed, by welding, on the element (6) that is fixed, by welding, on the rail. The plate and the absorber are positioned on the assembly. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a vehicle.
