The pressure bar seal (4) has a bar-shaped sealing areas (18) for installation at facade elements (2a,2b). A central area (20) is arranged between the sealing areas, and has a U-shaped cross section. Holding elements are arranged at the central area for holding of the pressure bar seal at a pressure bar (3). The central area is made of hard plastic, where the sealing areas are made of soft plastic. An independent claim is also included for a pressure bar.
