A method for determining the optimum allocation of resources in a mobile telecommunication network. The method includes the step of calculating a fitness parameter for each service class where the fitness parameter is dependent on the quality of service index QoSSUBi/SUB, the dynamic queue length qSUB1/SUB, and the frequency of resources fSUB1/SUB, for each service class.
