GREASE FOR HIGH-SPEED BEARING, AND ROLLING BEARING FOR SPINDLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide grease for high-speed rolling bearings and a rolling bearing for spindles that can sufficiently cope with rotation having a dmN value as high as at least 1,700,000 and permits compactification of a machine tool and reduction of an operation cost.;SOLUTION: The grease comprises a base oil and a urea-based thickening agent, where the base oil has a kinematic viscosity of 15-30 mm²/sec at 40°C while the urea-based thickening agent is obtained by a reaction of a polyisocyanate component with a monoamine component, which contains at least 50 mol%, based on the whole monoamine, of at least one monoamine selected from among aliphatic monoamines and alicyclic monoamines, and the grease contains the urea-based thickening agent in an amount of at least 3 wt.% and less than 9 wt.% based on the whole grease. The rolling bearing 1 for spindles is equipped with an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3, a plurality of rolling elements 4 lying between the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3, and a sealing member 6, and has the grease sealed around the rolling elements 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
