PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a ferrule of a golf club, in particular, a wood club from protruding. PSOLUTION: The ferrule 1 for golf club comprises a cylinder part 2 to be inserted into a hosel 9 at the time of mounting to the golf club, and a flange part 4 which continues from the cylinder part 2 and is positioned at the upper part from the upper end face 91 of the hosel 9, and has a through hole 5 through which a shaft 8 is inserted from the lower end of the cylinder part 2 to the upper end of the flange part 4. The inner diameter of the through hole 5 of the cylinder part 2 is nearly the same diameter as the outer diameter of the shaft 8. The inner diameter of the through hole 5 of the flange part 4 is larger than the outer diameter of the shaft 8.
