PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upleg snorkel of an RH apparatus by which the circulating flow of molten steel can be maximized.;SOLUTION: In the RH vacuum degassing apparatus at the upleg snorkel 8, gas blowing nozzles 10 for circulating-flowing are set at 10-30 pieces per 1 m of the inner wall circular direction of the upleg snorkel, by observing from the perpendicular direction when the upleg snorkel is set in the RH vacuum degassing apparatus 1. In this case, it is desirable that the inner diameter of the gas-blowing nozzle for circulating-flowing is 2.0-3.0 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
