PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method for the heat generation rate of an internal combustion engine, a torque model creating method for the internal combustion engine and a torque estimating method for the internal combustion engine, wherein estimating accuracy is improved when using Wiebe functions for estimating the heat generation rate, the cylinder pressure and the torque of the internal combustion engine.;SOLUTION: The heat generation rate of the internal combustion engine is simulated using the plurality of Wiebe functions.
