PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect accurately a damage of a buried object under excavation by a construction machine, by accurately detecting the position of the buried object, based on the calculation of the distance between an operation machine of the construction machine and the buried object, by referring a three dimensional position including the depth position of the buried object.;SOLUTION: The buried object detection device calculates a three-dimensional position information of the operation machine, according to an identification demand on the buried object which exists in the perimeter of the construction machine and transmits the calculated information into a control device. The control device performs a search of the buried object information, according to the three-dimensional position of the operation machine transmitted from the buried object detecting device. When there are buried objects within the predetermined range from the operation machine, the control device transmits the corresponding buried object information into the buried object detecting device. When the buried object detection device receives the buried object information from the control device, the buried object detecting device calculates the three-dimensional position information of the operation machine, and determines whether there is buried object within the predetermined range from the operation machine, based on the three dimensional position information and the buried object information; and if it is determined that there is a buried object, output is made by generating the operation stop command which stops the operation of the operation machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
