PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively synthesizing Rubisco enzyme protein important for photosynthesis in in vitro expression system. PSOLUTION: The method for synthesizing the Rubisco protein by allowing a Rubisco gene to express the protein in the in vitro expression system involves allowing the expression of the Rubisco protein in the presence of RbcX protein of blue-green algae. Preferably, the Rubisco is the one of a higher plant or an eukaryotic algae, and the RbcX protein of the blue-green algae has a specific amino acid sequence or the equivalent thereof.
