SYNTHESIS OF NEW ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT ABSORBER BY DEHYDROCHLORINATING CONDENSATION BETWEEN 2-CYANO-3,3-DIPHENYLACRYLOYL CHLORIDE AND HYDROXY GROUP-CONTAINING SEVERAL KINDS OF COMPOUNDS
SYNTHESIS OF NEW ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT ABSORBER BY DEHYDROCHLORINATING CONDENSATION BETWEEN 2-CYANO-3,3-DIPHENYLACRYLOYL CHLORIDE AND HYDROXY GROUP-CONTAINING SEVERAL KINDS OF COMPOUNDS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize a practically usable cyanoacrylate-based untraviolet light absorber improved in transpiration resistance compared to conventional ones using 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacryloyl chloride, and to synthesize benzophenone-based and cyanoacrylate-based ultraviolet light absorbers and ultraviolet light absorbers which can be said as so-called composite system composed of a benzotriazole-based compound and a cyanoacrylate-based compound alike using 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacryloyl chloride, respectively.;SOLUTION: Aryl 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylates are synthesized by dehydrochlorinating condensation between 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacryloyl chloride and respective phenolic compounds, and the physical properties of these aryl 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylates have been examined. Further, the objective new ultraviolet light absorbers which can be said as so-called composite-based ones have been synthesized, respectively, by dehydrochlorinating condensation between the above aryl 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylates and a benzophenone-based or benzotriazole-based ultraviolet light absorber having a hydroxy group which is not involved in ultraviolet light absorption.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
