PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately performing the fractional quantification of reductive low-molecular thiol and oxidative low-molecular thiol in a physiological sample at the same time.;SOLUTION: The reductive low-molecular thiol and the oxidative low-molecular thiol in the physiological sample are fractionally quantified by a method wherein the physiological sample is subjected to deproteinization treatment; first and second parts are collected by the same amount from the deproteinized treated sample; the reductive low-molecular thiol is labelled with fluorescence after the low-molecular of the second part is reduced using a reducing agent to label the reductive low-molecular thiol with fluorescence after the reducing treatment; the low-molecular thiol of the first part labelled with fluorescence and the low-molecular thiol of the second part are analyzed by HPLC and the concentration of the reductive low-molecular thiol and that of the oxidizative low-molecular thiol are calculated from the analyzing values of the first and second parts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
