PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent for thermoplastic polymers capable of imparting an antistatic property having sufficient endurance even under low-moisture conditions to a thermoplastic polymer molded product and simultaneously exhibiting desired excellent properties, e.g. reusability of the thermoplastic polymer molded products, etc., coating properties to thermoplastic polymer molded products, non-transfer property from the thermoplastic polymer molded products, blocking resistance between thermoplastic polymer molded products and non-tackiness of thermoplastic polymer molded products and to provide an antistatic method of thermoplastic polymer molded products by using the antistatic agent and to provide an antistatic thermoplastic polymer molded product by using the antistatic agent. PSOLUTION: The antistatic agent for thermoplastic polymers is obtained by using a vinyl copolymer having a prescribed number-average molecular weight and having a unit formed from a specific monomer having a quaternary ammonium base, a unit formed from a specific monomer having a polyoxyalkylene group and a unit formed from a specific crosslinkable monomer in a prescribed ratio.
