PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of jetting secondary cooling water to a cast slab while preventing the clogging of spray nozzles by a simple and easy means in a continuous casting machine.;SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method of jetting secondary cooling water 10 to the cast slab from the spray nozzles 9 mounted on the acral part of spray pipes 8 in the continuous casting machine.
