PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator which separates a gas hydrate slurry into gas hydrate and water, provided that the gas hydrate slurry is produced by reacting raw material water with raw material gas such as natural gas.;SOLUTION: The separator A is equipped with a screw-type stir-up unit 1 having a spiral ribbon-like blade 1a inside a vertical cylindrical body 5, provided that the blade 1a is formed along an inner wall surface of the body 5. A discharge outlet 7a for the gas hydrate is formed in the upper part of the body 5. The gas hydrate slurry S is separated into the gas hydrate n and water w1 inside the body 5 of the separator A, and the gas hydrate n is stirred upward by the stir-up unit 1 and discharged from the discharge outlet 7a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
