PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing Ti grains or Ti-alloy grains formed by reduction in molten salt, and also to provide a method and a device for manufacturing metal Ti or Ti alloy using the above manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing Ti grains or Ti-alloy grains is characterized as follows: when carrying out granulation, in molten salt, by bringing Ti particles or Ti-alloy particles formed by reduction into contact with each other, the flow of the bath is changed by providing a guide plate in the bath; in addition, the average grain size of grains after granulation is made to ≥100 μm; and further, the particle size of constituent particles of the Ti grains or Ti-alloy grains, which are granulated in such a way that the average grain size of the grains after granulation becomes ≥1 μm, ranges from 0.05 μm to 10 μm.
