METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MONITORING PARTIAL DETECTED AIRCRAFT IN SSR MODE S

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deterioration of a radio wave environment as much as possible; to raise a detection rate of a partial detected aircraft up to a level necessary for control; and to suppress or prevent output of two reports (mode A/C and mode S target reports).;SOLUTION: A signal processing part 4 performs operation in SSR (Secondary Surveillance Radar) mode S regularly, and, when detecting automatically that a partial detected aircraft exists in a prescribed area such as a radar coverage or a sector, issues an alarm, and performs operation in a mode including an interrogation in a monopulse form capable of acquiring a mode A/C response also from the partial detected aircraft to the area, for example, in MIIP (Mode S Intermediate Interrogation Pattern) mode or in mode S mode. Since the mode A/C response is acquired from each aircraft only in a necessary area or the like, the detection rate of the partial detected aircraft can be raised, and unnecessary mode A/C responses can be reduced to the minimum.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
