LIFE ESTIMATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FROM TRUNCATED LIFE TEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of a truncated life test capable of simply and quickly trial calculating the life level of the testing object even an unskilled person without generation of discrepancy of interpretation from the undamaged time while a part of the testing object are still subjected to the test without being damaged with high reliability in the truncated life test.;SOLUTION: From the inputted test result data D, the case classification of the relation between the undamaged time though in which there are different interpretations and the number of undamaged pieces or the number of damaged pieces are performed following to the established standard. From the undamaged time and the number of undamaged pieces or the number of damaged pieces, the lower limit and the upper limit of the life are calculated respectively for every case classified using the Weibull slope value. In this case, the range of the life including the all ranges of lives for every classified case obtained in the process of life calculation is determined as the lot life range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
