PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying mechanism for a library system which contributes to downsizing of the library system.;SOLUTION: The library system 11 incorporates a first and second guide members 31 and 32 extending in parallel to storage racks 13a and 13b. A first conveying robot 18 is guided by the first and second guide members 31 and 32. A second conveying robot 19 is guided by the first and second guide members 31 and 32. The number of parts is decreased by commoditizing parts so that procurement cost of the parts is decreased. Moreover, by comparison with a case where the guide members are installed individually in the first conveying robot 18 and the second conveying robot 19, an occupation space of the guide members can be shrunk and a case for the library system 11 can be downsized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
