PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool which enables easy examining/observing of an artistic composition of an art work, a building, a natural object, a photograph, etc. using either a gold ratio or a silver ratio, or both.;SOLUTION: This artistic composition examination plate 1a comprises a scale plate (either a gold ratio plate 3a or a silver plate 4a or both) obtained by describing either a gold ratio scale or a silver ratio scale on a transparent plate, and a transparent base plate 2a with a recessed part 21a in which at least a piece of the scale plate is to be insetted.
