PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative technology by which a dense and homogeneous MgB2-based alloy sintered compact or MgB2-based alloy wire material can be easily and efficiently produced at a low cost.;SOLUTION: A fine and homogeneous Mg-alloy-boron mixed powder almost free from impurity contamination is produced by simultaneously performing homogeneous mixing and fining of cut scrap exhausted in a production process of a magnesium (Mg) alloy and boron (B) powder by subjecting the cut scrap and the boron (B) powder to friction pulverization and mixing in vacuum or an inert gas.
