PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture detection device capable of improving accuracy of posture detection, when detecting a user's posture. PSOLUTION: In this posture detection device equipped with an imaging means for imaging an image including a user, and a contact detection member for detecting contact of a some portion of a user's body, when specifying the user's posture based on an imaged image, a range of the posture to be specified is restricted corresponding to information showing whether the user is in contact with a contact detection member or not at the point of time when the image is imaged.
