PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar structure capable of attaining size reduction and high reliability for a signal display lamp.;SOLUTION: The pillar structure 10 for the signal display lamp 1 is applied to a signal display lamp 1, containing a terminal unit 3 and an upper unit 7 insertion-coupled on the same. A plurality of terminal fittings 15 are provided at a given interval, along an outer edge 16c of a housing 18 formed of an insulating material of the terminal unit 3. A wire 8 enters inwardly through a through-hole 18a at a center part of the terminal unit 3, and each core wire 8a exposed at a tip end of the wire 8 is electrically connected with a first connecting part 15c of each terminal fitting 15. A second connecting part 15b of each terminal fitting 15 is in contact with a flat electrode 13 of the upper unit 7. The first connecting part 15a is relatively positioned at a lower part Z2, and the second connecting part 15b is relatively positioned at an upper part Z1; and excluding these, the periphery of the terminal fittings 15 is surrounded by the insulating material of the housing 8 of the terminal unit 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
