PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply appropriate information to an operator in response to an abnormal state of a plant and improve an operator's technique.;SOLUTION: A plant operation support apparatus 1 includes: a control device 5 for creating an event tree chart in which a series of processes of a cause of an abnormal phenomenon of a plant, an abnormal phenomenon, a recovery operation to be conducted to the phenomenon, and influence in a case of a failure of the recovery operation are repeatedly and continuously described accompanying state transition of the plant in response to a state input from a detection means for detecting an operator's input operation or a state of the plant, and for acquiring at least a part of the event tree chart stored in a storage means 3 in response to the operator's input operation or the state input from the detection means; and a display device 4 for displaying the event tree chart.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
