PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an esterification reaction product gelling an oil agent to be transparent and giving cosmetics excellent in use feeling, to provide a gelation agent containing the product, and to provide cosmetics excellent in transparency and use feeling and containing the product or the gelation agent.;SOLUTION: An esterification reaction product obtained by performing esterification reaction of a component A: a polyhydric alcohol, a component B: a 10-28C straight chain dibasic acid, a component C: a 14-28C straight chain saturated fatty acid and a component D: an 8-28C branched saturated fatty acid, at compounding ratios of component A:component B=1.0 mol:0.50-0.75 mol, component A:component C=1.0 mol:0.5-1.0 mol and component A:component D=1.0 mol:0.7-1.0 mol, is used as a gelation agent and is contained in the cosmetics.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
