PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing the fall-down of a brick with which the fall-down accident of the brick can surely be prevented with a simple structure and brick lining work can easily be performed.;SOLUTION: A lining refractory structure on an upper throttling part in a converter for steelmaking is characterized in that the outer peripheral part side surface of the refractory brick 2 lined by lining up to a steel-shell 1 positioned at the upper throttling part in the converter, is cut off and a dovetail groove 4 is formed at a position where the adjoined bricks face each other, and a stud 5 fitted to the steel-shell side at the arrangement directed to the center of the dovetail groove 4, is surrounded, and a permanent refractory 6 is filled up and solidified at the interval between the steel-shell 1 and the refractory brick 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
