PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet metal punching device in which even after forming a break-through hole and the sheet metal is positioned and also regulation of the movement of the sheet metal is secured because the strength of the projection is secured and the deterioration of durability is not brought about; also the expansion of the diameter of the break-through hole itself with the punch main body is evaded and the sheet metal is made to break surely by tension around an annular edge of the cylindrical inner surface of die with which one end of the hole of the die is prescribed by cooperation with the punch main body.;SOLUTION: This sheet metal punching device 1 is provided with: un upper die holder 2 which is lifted and lowered with a hydraulic ram or the like; a pressing plate 3 which is fixed to the upper die holder 2; a pressing pad 5 which is hung down from the upper die holder 2 through an elastic member 4, a punch holder 7 which is fixed to the pressing pad 5; a lower die 9 on which the sheet metal 8 to which punching is applied; and a die 10 which is embedded in the lower die 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
