TRANSIT SHAFT CONSTRUCTION METHOD AND JACKING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technical means for solving problems of a conventional jacking method for constructing a transit shaft and carrying out propulsion, and drastically reducing workloads and burden of costs, to thereby avoid troubles and risks during execution of work.;SOLUTION: There is provided a transit shaft 6 construction method for arranging the transit shaft 6 between a starting shaft and an arrival shaft, for carrying out propulsion. According to the method, a steel casing 62 which has holes 61 formed therein beforehand, as transit ports for a propelling machine 7, is pressed into the ground without excavating soil inside the steel casing 62 to a level in excess of overburden necessary at the time of the propulsion. Then the propelling machine 7 is allowed to pass through the transit port holes 61 formed in the transit shaft 6 constructed in the method, and thereafter the soil in the steel casing 62 is excavated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
