PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety apparatus for conveyance equipment improving safety of conveyance equipment without requiring any workload for safety and without increasing the equipment stop time.;SOLUTION: A periphery of conveyance equipment 1 is divided into an area 2 monitored by intrusion detection and an area 3 not monitored. RFID antennas 4 are disposed to cover the area 2 in which intrusion is detected. When the RFID antenna 4 detects an RFID 5 attached to a person 6, the RFID controller determines whether to urgently stop the conveyance equipment 1 and outputs the determination result to a control board for controlling the conveyance equipment 1, to stop the conveyance equipment 1 when a person enters an area 2 in which the intrusion is detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
