PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning method of the pulsating heart by a spiral CT for minimizing the exposed dose of a patient.;SOLUTION: The scanning method of the pulsating heart by the spiral computed tomographic system is so formed that at least a single focus 14 of focus-detector systems 2 and 3 having multirow detectors 3 is made to spirally move around the patient 7. An X-ray beam bundle 15 emitted from at least the single focus 14 scans at least a single partial region Δz of the patient 7 having the expanse in the system axial direction and having the pulsating heart 16, and in the spiral scanning, scans the partial region Δz along with an anterior section positioned anteriorly to the partial region Δz and a posterior section positioned posteriorly to the partial region Δz for a perfect scanning of the partial region Δz of the patient having the pulsating heart 16 based on the spiral scanning.
