PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical report forming system and a medical report forming method, surely and easily processing a content to be referred to in forming a medical report according to an inspection part or inspection kind. PSOLUTION: The system comprises a processing content table 19 storing an attribute containing at least the inspection kind or inspection part related to a keyword and a content used in the medical report in association with a processing content for the content; and a content processing means 18 for receiving input of designation of a character string described in the medical report and input of a content to be processed related to the range of the designated character string from an input means 11, determining a processing content corresponding to the keyword shown by the range of the designated character string and the attribute of the designated content by retreival of the processing table, and processing the content to be processed according to the determined processing content.
