PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflatable device for forming or enlarging a cavity or passage in a bone, especially vertebral bodies (not limited only to this) the formed cavity or passage. PSOLUTION: The system includes first means made and constituted into a size so as to form an access passage through soft tissue to a bone with an inner volume of which at least a part is occupied by a cancellous bone, and second means made and constituted into an inflatable structure so as to expand in the cancellous bone and into a size so as to pass through the access passage to guide a structure capable of inflating the cancellous bone, the inflatable structure is made to remain in the cancellous bone upon removing the second means.
