SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POLICYMAKING VIA PORTABLE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system for policymaking of TNC (Trusted Network Connect) by using a portable medium and secure safety.;SOLUTION: When the portable medium is connected to a client, the policy making system stores a client state storage time. When the portable medium is connected to a server, a lapse of time showing a difference between the present time and the client state storage time is calculated. When the lapse of time exceeds a predefined value, the usage of the portable is judged medium as improper; the policy from the client state is determined; the policy and policy storage time are stored; and the client state is erased. When the portable medium is connected to the client again, the lapse of time 2 indicating the difference between the present time and the policy storage time is calculated. The usage of the portable medium is judged as improper when the lapse of time 2 exceeds the predefined value, and processing along the policy is carried out when the lapse of time 2 does not exceed the predefined value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
