MEDICAL MATERIAL FOR RECONSTRUCTING SURFACE OF EYE MADE OF DRIED AMNION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dried amnion as medical material for reconstructing the surface of the eye, and to provide a method of reconstructing the surface of the eye using the dried amnion manufactured by a specific method of drying.;SOLUTION: The dried amnion which is dried while maintaining the cellular tissues of a raw amnion can be produced by repeating a pressure-reducing operation and a pressure-recovery operation several times, the pressure-reducing operation comprising continuously heating the raw amnion placed in a treatment vessel with a far-infrared heater provided in the treatment vessel and reducing the pressure of the inside of the treatment vessel, and the pressure-recovery operation comprising recovering the reduced pressure of the inside of the treatment vessel while heating the amnion with a microwave irradiated from a microwave heating apparatus provided outside of the treatment vessel.
