PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a certificate with personal information of a purchaser printed thereon or the like from being repeatedly read every time when the purchaser purchases a commodity.;SOLUTION: The customer information registration system comprises an image acquisition part which acquires a certificate image of the certificate with personal information of the purchaser printed thereon and a signature image of the purchaser from a sales support terminal which supports sales of commodities; an image text conversion part which converts the personal information to text information; a purchaser information storage part which stores the text information; an image transmission part which transmits the certificate image and the signature image to a center server; a text information transmission part which makes the center server execute examination processing and registration processing in response to storage of the test information by the purchaser information storage part; a confirmation information receiving part which receives confirmation information including the result of the examination processing and that of the registration processing executed by the center server; and a confirmation information report part which reports the confirmation information to the sales support terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
