PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the highest temperature of an exhaust valve, by mainly cooling a heated part of the exhaust valve by heat of vaporization of water by instantly injecting the water, in a six-stroke engine for performing one-time combustion stroke with every three round trips of a piston.;SOLUTION: In addition to setting heat radiating time to about two times, a small quantity of cooling water is injected into the vicinity of the exhaust valve without being hindered by a flow of burnt gas, and the overheated exhaust valve is cooled by the water, and the burnt gas flowing in a combustion chamber is efficiently cooled by using a waterdrop slipped out of cooling of the exhaust valve.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
