PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality evaluation method for a degreasing/cleaning liquid for metal surface treatment where quality can be evaluated by a simple process, further, the reliability in the evaluation is sufficiently high, and a degreasing/cleaning liquid for metal surface treatment can be efficiently and correctly evaluated.;SOLUTION: The quality evaluation method for a degreasing/cleaning liquid for metal surface treatment for degreasing a metal surface comprises: a stage where a degreasing/cleaning liquid for metal surface treatment is left standing for 10 to 60 min under the temperature condition of 50 to 70°C, so as to be separated into an oil layer and a water layer; and a stage where the volume average grain diameter of emulsion included in the water layer is measured and is compared with a prescribed standard value, so as to evaluate the quality of the degreasing/cleaning liquid for metal surface treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
