PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory, heat insulating and anti-rust film which is nonflammable and smokeless, and excellent in heat resistance, fireproofness and heat insulation, and which has an anti-rust property of hardly producing rust even when a crack of a scratch is generated.;SOLUTION: In a coating method, after coating film of a dry thickness of 30-150 m is formed by coating a substrate surface with a composition for undercoating containing (a) an inorganic binder and (b) zinc powder as main components, a coating film of a dry thickness of 1-8 mm is formed by applying a composition for top coating containing (a) the inorganic binder, (c) a hardener for the inorganic binder, (d) a hollow or foamed inorganic material of an average size of 20-350 m, and (e) a non-hollow or a non-foamed inorganic material of an average size or an average length of 0.1-50 m as main components.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
