PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means and a method which are reliable and efficient for performing diagnostic prediction of a risk and a time wherein necessity of dialysis is generated, relative to a patient affected by nephropathy.;SOLUTION: The method includes steps for (a) measuring the level of a BNP type peptide or its variant in a sample originated in the patient, and (b) diagnosing a risk by comparing the measured level of the BNP type peptide or its variant with at least one reference level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
