PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform individual authentication without using any personal information, and to prevent impersonation and manage entrance and exit.;SOLUTION: A user makes an authentication medium 400 communicate with an authentication unit 500 in advance in the case of performing an authenticating operation. When detecting the communication with the authentication unit 500, the authentication medium 400 encrypts member information with a cryptrographic key, and transmits the encrypted data to an entering/leaving system 100. Then, the entering/leaving system 100 transfers the encrypted data to an authentication institute server 30, and requests authentication to a third person authentication institute 300. The authentication institute server 30 decrypts the encrypted data by using a group authentication key, and restores the member information. When the encrypted data are decrypted, the authentication institute server 30 decides that the group authentication of the user has been successful.
