By making with the styrene and the diene polymer polymerize at least under existing of one multi functionality initiators, the chip resistance polystyrene (HIPS) and the like it was discovered that you can obtain the polystyrene product which is improved. Existence of these multi functionality initiators furthermore is a tendency which causes the structure which diverges in this polystyrene. Swelling exponent increases as the thing which is not expected, following, % it confronts the rubber, % ratio of the gel (G/R or rubber phase capacity) it increases, this is opposite to common tendency. In addition, it is achievable in the rate of polymerization where the G/R value which it can allow with these initiators increases.
