PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas temperature control method and gas temperature control device of humidifying gas capable of efficiently lowering gas temperature without disturbing dew-point temperature of the humidifying gas. PSOLUTION: The gas temperature control device D of humidifying gas is at least provided with a gas tube channel 1 where outgoing gas flows, a vapor tube channel 7 connected to the gas tube channel with a connecting part 12 for generating humidifying gas W by mixing vapor in the outgoing gas, flow adjustment means 2, 4 fitted to the gas tube channel and the vapor tube channel, a dew-point hygrometer 9 measuring temperature of the humidifying gas, and a control means 9a controlling an aperture of a flow regulating valve based on information from the dew-point hygrometer so as to obtain vapor flow enough to raise temperature of the humidifying gas up to a target dew point. It is also provided with a sub tube channel 15 branched from the gas tube channel 1 and connected to a downstream side of the connecting part 12. The sub tube channel is provided with a gas cooling unit 17 for cooling the outgoing gas, and a regulating valve 18 for regulating flow of the sub tube channel.
