PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding part for a compressor, which can develop sufficient durability during operation with high tensile strength, easily develops "fitness" in an early stage as much as possible, and causes no failure in abnormal operation.;SOLUTION: A sliding part for compressor 17, 23, 24, 26, 39, 60, 117, 121, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 221, 224 or 310b is composed of iron having a carbon content of 2.0 to 2.7 wt.%, a silicon content of 1.0 to 3.0 wt.% and the balance including unavoidable impurities, with graphite being smaller than flake graphite of flake graphite cast iron, and has a hardness higher than HRB 90 and lower than HRB 100 in at least a part thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
