PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for totalizing the audience rating of broadcast program using a P2P network in order to recommend more useful audience rating information for the user. PSOLUTION: The system for totalizing the audience rating by utilizing a network connecting the nodes corresponding to a plurality of viewers comprises a means for stretching a receiving link for other node from each node, a means for transmitting data about the audience rating periodically from each node constituting a network to a node for which the receiving link is stretched, a means for collecting and totalizing the data about the audience rating at each node, and a means for cutting the receiving link with a node not receiving the totalized data about the audience rating for a predetermined period and restretching the link with other node.
