PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape reel capable of surely adhering the top end part of the tape to a hub without using liquid for the purpose of adhesion.;SOLUTION: The tape reel 1 is provided with a lower flange 3 and an upper flange 4 respectively at both ends of the cylindrical hub 2 around which the magnetic tape MT is wound, in which the hub 2 has a vent hole communicating an inside and an outer periphery of the cylinder.
