PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation satellite group control system capable of observing a target observation area in a short time after establishing an observation plan by using a plurality of observation satellite groups orbiting the earth.;SOLUTION: A satellite information control unit is provided, which selects at least one observation satellite among a plurality of observation satellites orbiting around the earth, sends information on the target observation point corresponding to the selected observation satellite, and sends an orbit changing command for descending the orbit altitude of the selected observation satellite. When the observation satellite receives the information on the target observation point and the orbit changing command to be sent from the satellite information control unit, it descends its orbit altitude, and observes the target observation point after descending the orbit altitude.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
